MOGADISHU-SOMALIA: UK Minister for Development and Africa Kirsty McNeill met with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud at Villa Somalia to discuss opportunities to strengthen the partnership between the United Kingdom and Somalia.
The meeting focused on areas of mutual interest, with particular attention to strengthening bilateral cooperation and supporting Somalia’s efforts toward a safer, more stable, and inclusive future.
Minister McNeill and President Hassan Sheikh also underscored the importance of inclusive political dialogue as a key component of Somalia’s stability and long-term development.
The meeting reflects the continued engagement between the UK and Somalia and the shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in support of peace, stability, and sustainable development in the country.
