National Consultative Council Meeting Commences in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (LM) The National Consultative Council meeting opened today in the capital, Mogadishu, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Somali Federal Government.

Leaders from various states, including the Presidents of Galmudug, SouthWest, Hirshabelle, SSC-Khatumo, and the Banadir Region, are in attendance to discuss key national issues and foster collaboration among regional administrations.

The meeting aims to address pressing challenges facing the nation and to strengthen dialogue and cooperation among the federal and state governments, fight against Khawarij (terrorists), and the One Man One Vote National Elections. Participants are expected to engage in constructive discussions that will contribute to peace, stability, and development in Somalia.

As the council convenes, there is a shared commitment to enhance governance and promote unity across the country, laying the groundwork for a more prosperous future.
