MOGADISHU, Somalia Dhay, one of Somalia’s emerging dairy brands, has been recognized with the Best Innovative Product Award by Somali Leadership Awards 2026, event that took place in Mogadishu on 19th August, honouring the company’s contribution to innovation and the development of Somalia’s dairy and food industry.
Dhay Milk was established to respond to the growing demand for quality and reliable milk products while supporting the development of modern dairy standards in Somalia.
The company produces 100% pure cow’s milk using UHT (Ultra-High Temperature) processing technology, allowing the milk to remain fresh for an extended period without refrigeration before opening.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, representatives of Dhay Milk said the recognition reflects the company’s commitment to bringing innovative and quality-focused dairy products to Somali consumers.

Dhay Milk’s product range includes full-cream and low-fat milk, developed to serve the needs of children, families, and health-conscious consumers. The company says its products contain important nutrients, including protein, calcium, and vitamins A and D, which contribute to a healthy and balanced diet.
