Badioa (LM) A delegation led by Aden Abdi Abaaray, the Deputy Governor for Security and Politics of Bakool Region, conducted an encouraging visit to the Somali National Army, specifically the 9th Brigade of the 60th Division currently operating in the area.
The primary purpose of the inspection was to expedite operations against the Khawarij and bolster efforts to eliminate this extremist group from the region. The Commander of the 9th Brigade, Dhamme Elmi Adan Isaaq, warmly welcomed the officials to the front lines, where the troops are actively engaged.
Deputy Governor Abaaray reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating the Khawarij throughout the Bakool Region. He emphasized the need for full support from the central government and announced plans for a direct presence at the ports during this critical period. This oversight aims to closely monitor the situation and address the needs of the army as they advance in their operations.
As the security forces intensify their efforts, there is a collective determination to restore peace and stability in the region.
