Mogadishu, 30 June, 2025-The Mayor of Banaadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), has laid the foundation stone for the construction of the asphalt road connecting Banaadir Junction and Wadajir District, which will pass by Madiina Hospital in Mogadishu.
The Mayor emphasized his commitment to improving roads and infrastructure to facilitate smooth transportation, noting that it will not be acceptable to divert the newly constructed roads in Mogadishu. He stated that the Banaadir Administration will establish procedures for companies providing services.
Mayor Muungaab called on the capital’s community to work together to ensure the safety of the roads, maintain cleanliness, and promote development, so that the capital can have a beautiful appearance that matches or exceeds those of other capitals in developed countries.
The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairpersons of the Banaadir Administration, businesspeople, community elders, and other members of society.
