Deputy Prime Minister Chairs Key Meetings to Strengthen Somalia’s Security

Mogadishu (LM) H.E Abdisalam Abdi Ali Dhaay, the Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, today chaired pivotal meetings with subcommittees focused on mobilization and awareness, as well as finance and support.
These discussions aimed to accelerate efforts to eradicate the Khawarij groups of Al-Shabaab and ISIS, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation between government institutions, civil society, and security partners.
During the meetings, the Deputy Prime Minister articulated a clear vision to strengthen the country’s security system and foster a society free from fear and extremism. He reiterated the government’s commitment to mobilizing resources and support to combat terrorism effectively.
