IGAD Enhances Postal Services in Djibouti with New Vehicle Donation

Djibouti City – The IGAD Executive Secretary, H.E. Workneh Gebeyehu, officially handed over five new postal vehicles to the Djibouti Postal Service, a development supported by the African Development Bank Group.
The donation aligns with IGAD’s commitment to bringing services closer to communities and enhancing regional connectivity. This strategic investment aims to strengthen national delivery systems, improve service efficiency, and support the development of a digital postal marketplace, thus widening opportunities for local communities.
H.E. Workneh Gebeyehu emphasized that IGAD is committed to developing practical solutions that enhance connectivity and expand economic opportunities for all Member States.
