Somali PM Receives a Warm Welcome at the Serbian Presidency

Belgrade (LM) The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, held a fruitful meeting today in Belgrade with his counterpart from the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Đuro Macut. They discussed several issues, including strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in trade, investment, security collaboration, education, and health.
Prime Minister Xamsa and his delegation were accorded a high-level welcome at the Serbian Presidential Palace, where both governments signed a cooperation agreement related to health.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Somalia offers various investment opportunities, including in blue economy sectors, agriculture, and livestock, which present Serbian entrepreneurs with promising avenues for investment.
He invited the Serbian government and business community to visit Somalia to further expand cooperation between the two countries and explore viable investment opportunities.
Mr. Xamsa Cabdi Barre expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of Serbia, Mr. Đuro Macut, for the warm reception extended to him and his delegation, noting that diplomatic cooperation between the two countries will continue to strengthen.
