Somali Ministers Participate in Voter Registration Drive

Mogadishu, Somalia — Ministers from the Federal Government of Somalia joined citizens today in districts where voter registration went well. This initiative aims to encourage civic engagement and bolster the democratic process in the country.
Deputy Minister of Information Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adaala and State Minister of Defense Omar Ali Abdi spoke to the media following their registration, commending the Somali people for their dedication to the voter registration process.
“The commitment shown by our citizens in registering to vote is commendable,” said Mr. Al-Adaala. “It is vital for every Somali to recognize and exercise their constitutional rights.”
The ministers urged citizens to take full advantage of this opportunity, emphasizing the importance of participating in the electoral process to influence who will represent their political future. “Your voice matters, and participating in this process is crucial for shaping the direction of our nation,” added Mr. Abdi.
As voter registration continues, the government is encouraging all eligible citizens to register and make their voices heard in the upcoming elections.
