Baqdad (LM) The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is attending the 34th Arab League Summit in Baghdad, where key regional issues will be addressed.
The summit aims to explore lasting solutions to the various security and political crises affecting many parts of the Arab region. President Mohamud is set to present Somalia’s ongoing struggle against extremist groups, including Al-Shabaab and ISIS, emphasizing the challenges faced by the Somali government and the resilience of its people in the fight against these factions.
In addition to his participation in the summit discussions, President Mohamud will hold a prayer meeting with fellow leaders attending the event, reflecting the importance of solidarity and cooperation among Arab nations in addressing shared challenges.
