Somali PM “The DanQaran Government Prioritizes Education to Enhance National Development”

Mogadishu (LM) The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, inaugurated the national high school examination, which will see over 39,000 students participating from various regions across the country this year.

The Prime Minister stated that the DanQaran Government specializes in improving the quality of education in the country, noting that the national examination is crucial for Somali students and the nation’s future development.

“In addition to security, the government is focused on ensuring that Somali children have access to quality education that aligns with global education systems,” the Prime Minister said.

Mr. Hamza noted that the government has achieved significant successes in reforming and enhancing the education system, reaching areas that were previously cleared of insurgents, including educational services, to combat insecurity and illiteracy.

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre expressed gratitude to the security forces for their role in ensuring safety at examination centers and in delivering examination papers to remote areas using the military’s air transport capabilities.
