Kismayo (LM) The Somali National Army’s elite Danab Commandos, in collaboration with the Jubaland Special Police Force, successfully conducted a strategic operation in various areas of the Lower Juba region.
The joint operation aimed to enhance security and combat ongoing threats in the region. Troops engaged in targeted operations to dismantle militant activities and restore safety for local communities.
A military spokesperson stated, “This operation reflects our commitment to ensuring peace and stability in Lower Juba. The coordinated efforts of the Danab Commandos and Jubaland Special Police are crucial in our fight against terrorism.”
Residents expressed appreciation for the operation, noting a significant reduction in insecurity and violence. “We feel safer knowing our forces are working together to protect us,” said a community leader.
The operation highlights the ongoing collaboration between national and regional security forces in addressing security challenges and maintaining peace across Somalia.
