Mogaidshu (LM) ISpeaking at handover ceremony, Somali National Armay Commander Odawaa Yusuf Raage affirmed the readiness of the Somali National Army (SNA) Command to collaborate with the newly appointed Defense Minister, Ahmed Moalin Fiqi, in the ongoing fight against the Khawarij.
“We are prepared to work with the new Minister, and we will work together to eradicate the Khawarij from the country,” Commander Raage declared, underscoring the military’s commitment to ensuring national security and stability.
His remarks come as the SNA ramps up efforts to combat militant groups posing threats to peace and safety in Somalia. Commander Raage expressed confidence in the new leadership, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation among military forces to achieve their objectives.
