New Defense Minister Ahmed Moalin Fiqi Vows to Lead Fight Against Khawarij

Mogadishu (LM) In his inaugural address, newly appointed Defense Minister Ahmed Moalin Fiqi expressed his commitment to leading the fight against the Khawarij, emphasizing collaboration with the Armed Forces Command and advocating for the rights of the National Forces.

“I will lead the fight against the Khawarij in the first phase,” Minister Fiqi stated, underscoring the urgency of addressing the security threats posed by militant groups. He highlighted the importance of a unified approach, stating, “We will work well and respectfully with the Armed Forces Command.”

Minister Fiqi also acknowledged the need to rectify the rights of the National Forces, promising to ensure that their contributions and sacrifices are recognized and respected. “It is crucial that we support our forces, as they are on the front lines defending our nation,” he added.
