Heavy Military Operations Weaken Khawarij in Shabelle Regions

Mogadishu ( LM) In a decisive move against Khawarij terrorists, the Somali Military, supported by local liberation forces, has intensified its offensive operations in the Middle and Lower Shabelle regions.

Recent military actions have focused on strategic locations, including the Ali Gaduud Mosque, Sabiib, and Anole.

The sustained field and air attacks have reportedly led to significant losses for the Khawarij, a group that has plagued the region with violence and instability. Local sources indicate that the military operations have disrupted the terrorists’ supply lines and operational capabilities, causing panic among their ranks.

Residents in the affected areas have expressed relief as government forces regain control over territories previously held by the Khawarij. “We have seen a noticeable change,” said one local elder. “The presence of our soldiers gives us hope for a safer future.”

The Somali government has vowed to continue its fight against terrorism, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between military forces and local communities. As operations continue, officials remain optimistic that the Khawarij will be further weakened, paving the way for peace and stability in the region.
