Mogadishu (LM)-The Acting Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for AUSSOM, Mr. Adebayo Kareem, met with Somalia’s Minister of Education, Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, on Sunday.
During their meeting, they focused on strengthening collaboration between the African Union and the Somali government, particularly in the education sector. Mr. Kareem highlighted the positive impact of these efforts, noting that they have significantly improved school enrollment across the country.
Minister Abdulkadir underscored the importance of continued support from the African Union in stabilizing Somalia and enhancing educational opportunities for children. “Our partnership is crucial for building a better future for our youth,” he stated.
The discussions also covered strategies to further boost educational initiatives and ensure sustainable development in Somalia. Both leaders expressed optimism about the future of education in the country, committed to working together for lasting improvements.
